grammer. is driven by filmmakers and independent artists, who value aesthetic quality and a boutique, hands-on approach to project realization over utilitarian video production.

We understand the precious value of first impressions, and how now more than ever, those impressions rely on an intentional online presence. We value brands and individuals who share this appreciation.

Sideways sparked an upsurge in Pinot Noir sales… while Psycho triggered the opposite in opaque shower curtains.

The X-Files inspired a generation of women going into the sciences, and The Sopranos, a generation of men into therapy.

Commercial entities have never had more ways to get their ads to their audience.

As a result, our brains are denied any moment when branded content doesn’t scream at us for our attention. And a lot of us are sick of it.

Fatigue for online ads is at an all-time high, and trust in them an all-time low.

Stories, on the other hand, remain - as they’ve always been - a driver of resonating and material results in their viewers.

not selling videos, but shaping stories.

grammer. operates with a respect for the intentional cultivation of a message, rather than churning out content to feed the algorithm. We create a reflection of your vision that leaves viewers genuinely engaged to connect with. Not tricked for clicks.

We are directors, photographers, writers, editors and producers of award-winning narrative and documentary films – seasoned in years of work with prestige corporations, small businesses and non-profit organizations alike.

Throughout childhood, Joe’s career goals went from Ghostbuster to cartoonist to filmmaker. At 12, he picked up a camera, and began to spend weekends putting friends in their dads’ suits and covering them in fake blood. Sorry dads.

He’s now a Philadelphia/New York-based director, photographer, cinematographer, writer, and editor.

His previous film, Running the Gammatar, went viral as a Vimeo Staff Pick. It was acclaimed in over 50 media outlets, was featured on Funny or Die, played festivals worldwide, took top prize in online competitions, and was distributed both domestically and internationally.

He still ain’t afraid of no ghost.

Christian graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2012 with a degree in English, just in time to join the funeral march for the print journalism industry. He decided to aim an impractically overpriced liberal education toward a more reliably lucrative field like film production.

He currently heads video production at Free People of Urban Outfitters, Inc., has produced a spec pilot for BBC America and has written, shot, directed, edited and produced both creative and promotional content for brands ranging from Live Nation, Comcast, NPR, NBC-Universal, WHYY, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia to Dive Vfx, where he handled assets for major motion picture releases Jack Reacher , Chernobyl Diaries and Safety Not Guaranteed, among others.
